Per IC Fire Chief Horton, the burn ban for Imlay City and Imlay Township has been lifted, effective today. Burn Permits can once again be issued online at lapeerburnpermit.com or through the Residents tab under burn permits. Thank you!

Lane closure on S. Blacks Corners Rd. at the Polly Ann Trail for storm sewer repairs. The south access point of the Polly Ann Trail at Blacks Corners Rd. near the High School will be closed today.  

Due to dry conditions, an immediate burn ban has been put into place for Imlay City and Imlay Township until further notice. Several other jurisdictions within Lapeer County have implemented outdoor burning restrictions as well. Please check the burn permit site for restrictions in your area.
